Since early childhood Sutie Madison has been pursuing and realizing her artistic vision. Trained in multiple disciplines across a variety of artistic mediums, and after producing an eclectic and prolific body of work, Madison would eventually become founder and director of Band of Artists. That is when the artist felt she’d answered her true calling. As an individual with Tourette syndrome, Madison, is passionate about inspiring people to claim themselves and whatever skills and talents that make them unique. Courageous and bold, the shows are designed to educate as well as entertain, adding just the right helping of scientific data to the heady mix of each passionate performance. Now, as a recovering alcoholic with OCD, Madison unfolds a new chapter for the Band of Artist’s archives by examining the myriad complexities of the addictive/obsessive mind, and exploring the tumultuous beauty of this neurological landscape.
