Band of Artists Premieres Intersection: Tourette Syndrome in Philadelphia

At 8pm on Friday December 16, 2011 and Saturday December 17, 2011, The Meeting House Theatre at The Community Education Center will be hosting this unique performance.  Combining the intensity of dance with the compelling language and movement of Touretes will give an eye-opening perspective on the neurological disorder.

The evening’s lineup will include performances by Band of Artists with choreography by Sutie Madison and Philly’s hip hop all-stars Hannibal and Josh Culbreath, music by songwriter Steven Di Joseph and Peter Adams and a discussion led by neurologist James Cook, M.D. exploring and defining neurological disorders, disabilities, and more specifically: Tourette Syndrome (TS).
