Michael Wolff

Michael Wolff

Michael Wolff, a famous Jazz musician, composer and producer, has lived with Tourette Syndrome since he was a child.  Growing up with a mild case of TS, he made a conscious effort to hide his vocal and motor tics, which luckily never interfered with his successful school career or social life.  Wolff never really knew he had TS until he was officially diagnosed in his thirties.(1)

Michael Wolff is married to actress Polly Draper, together they have two sons, Nat and Alex.  In a true team effort, his wife wrote and starred, while Wolff scored for the film The Tic Code, a movie loosely based on Wolff’s life with TS.(2)  The talent does not stop there, in 2007 Wolff and his sons won a BMI Film and TV Award for their work on the Nickelodeon series The Naked Brothers Band.(3)

Wolff currently mentors children with TS and serves with his wife on the Board of Directors on the Tourette Syndrome Association.(4)
