Tourettes: A Dancing Disorder to be performed at Abington Memorial Hospital!

Explore Tourette’s syndrome through dance and music with Band of Artists dance team led by Sutie Madison and musician Stephen DiJoseph. Learn the history, causes, diagnosis and treatments of Tourette’s syndrome presented by James Cook, MD, Neurologist. This entertaining performance and informative lecture will unveil Tourette’s syndrome and reveal its creative intelligence. Co-sponsored by The Neurosciences Institute at Abington Memorial Hospital and Penn State Abington.

Philly Live Arts/Fringe Tickets Now Available for Tourettes: A Dancing Disorder

Tickets for Tourettes: A Dancing Disorder, premiering at The Painted Bride Arts Center during the 2012 Philly Live Arts & Fringe Festival are now available!

Band of Artists is at the forefront of a movement being born that not only creates awareness about neurological disorders but also gives a powerful voice that inspires appreciation and admiration for people who are different. Comprised of a forward thinking group of performers and presenters, Band of Artists is putting a new spin on Tourette Syndrome. By combining art with scientific research, dance with lecture, they challenge and inspire people to take another look at their definitions of disability.
